In America, we like to believe our press is free and our movies are just entertainment. But what if I told you that nearly every major television news network is owned by a Hollywood studio, and those studios are financially dependent on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)?
What if I told you that China controls what you see, what you hear, and even what you believe—not just in the movies, but on the nightly news?
It sounds like the plot of a dystopian thriller. But it’s not. It’s our reality.
The Corporate Web: Who Owns What?
Here’s what most Americans haven’t put together:
Every major television news network—except Fox News—is owned by a movie studio.
• ABC News → Owned by Disney
• CNN → Owned by Warner Bros. Discovery
• NBC/MSNBC → Owned by Comcast/Universal
• CBS News → Owned by Paramount Global
What do all of these studios have in common?
They all do business with China.
And they all make billions from the Chinese market.
Hollywood is a propaganda arm of the CCP, and since these studios also own the major news networks, that means the CCP has its hands in American journalism, too.
Why Haven’t You Seen a Chinese Villain in Years?
Think back: when was the last time you saw a major Hollywood movie where the bad guy was Chinese?
If you’re struggling to think of one, it’s because Hollywood has been banned from making them.
The last major Hollywood film to depict China in a negative light was Seven Years in Tibet (1997), starring Brad Pitt. The movie exposed China’s brutal occupation of Tibet and the CCP’s human rights abuses.
China’s response?
• They banned the studio (Columbia TriStar) from doing business in China.
• They banned Brad Pitt from ever entering the country.
• They blacklisted everyone involved with the film.
Hollywood got the message.
And ever since, the CCP has had veto power over scripts, casting, and even dialogue—even for movies made in America.
This is why:
• Doctor Strange (2016) changed a Tibetan character to Celtic to avoid angering China.
• Top Gun: Maverick (2022) removed Taiwan’s flag from Tom Cruise’s jacket to appease the CCP.
• Red Dawn (2012) changed the villain from China to North Korea using CGI after the movie was already filmed.
China doesn’t just influence Hollywood.
China controls Hollywood.
The NBA, Wall Street, and Corporate America Are No Different
If you think it’s just movies, think again.
In 2019, Houston Rockets executive Daryl Morey tweeted in support of Hong Kong’s pro-democracy protests.
China’s response?
• They pulled all NBA games from Chinese television.
• They cut sponsorship deals with the Rockets.
• The NBA forced Morey to apologize.
• LeBron James and other NBA stars sided with China.
The message was clear: don’t criticize China, or you’ll pay the price.
Why?
Because the NBA, like Hollywood, makes billions from the Chinese market.
And so do:
• Apple (which uses Chinese slave labor to make iPhones).
• Nike (which depends on Chinese factories).
• BlackRock, Vanguard, and Wall Street banks (which invest trillions in Chinese markets).
They all bow to the CCP.
The News Media Won’t Report on This—Because They’re Complicit
Now ask yourself:
• Why doesn’t ABC News investigate Disney’s censorship for China?
• Why doesn’t CNN report on Hollywood’s relationship with the CCP?
• Why doesn’t NBC News expose Comcast’s financial ties to China?
Because they are owned by the same companies that are controlled by China.
This is why you’ll never see CNN run a hard-hitting exposé on Chinese censorship.
This is why MSNBC won’t tell you how China is buying up U.S. farmland, oil reserves, and real estate.
This is why CBS won’t investigate China’s role in the fentanyl crisis that’s killing thousands of Americans every year.
The news is compromised—because the corporations that own the news are compromised.
China’s Endgame: The Subjugation of America
The Chinese Communist Party does not play by the rules. They do not believe in free speech, democracy, or human rights.
Their goal is total global domination.
• They already control Hollywood.
• They already control the NBA.
• They already control Wall Street.
• They already control the news media.
Now, they are:
• Buying up American farmland.
• Flooding the U.S. with fentanyl.
• Infiltrating universities, tech companies, and even our government.
This is economic warfare.
This is information warfare.
This is ideological warfare.
And our own corporations and media are helping China win—all for a quick buck.
Final Thoughts: What Can You Do?
1. Stop watching Hollywood movies that bow to China.
2. Stop supporting corporations that censor for the CCP.
3. Call out politicians and media who refuse to hold China accountable.
4. Educate others about how deep this influence goes.
5. Support independent news sources that expose this corruption.
America is being sold out—not by military conquest, but by greedy corporations who would rather serve the CCP than their own country.
It’s time to wake up.
Because if we don’t fight back now, soon we won’t have a country left to fight for.
